A walk to this waterfall is a beautiful one .the walk takes you through Agomatsa the wildlife sanctuary which features more than 200 bird species and 400 butterfly species. Most tourists make the walk to the lower falls which is mostly a flat trail but stunning and beautiful in setting made even more dramatic by the presence of the thousand of fruit bats nesting high up on the nearby cliff

I guess not Amedzofe is a settlement north of Ho in the mountainous region of the Ho Municipal District of the volta region. Amedzofe, one of the highest villages in Ghana at more than 600 meters, is perched at the foot of Mt. Gemi. Amedzofe is popularly referred as a “small London” .

The settlement in the mountains, and can boast of four natural gifts-the Ote [otay] Falls, Mount Gemi, the weather and the landscape. In previous years folks in the village used to experience slightly snowfall. Sadly as years go by climate has caused a change therefore snow doesn’t fall but one can experience server fog on a visibility is very low

Lovers of food looking for something new to taste , lets take you on ride to the Greater Accra region where the inhabitants are the Ga’s. the popular food among the Ga’s is called kenkey .we have two types of kenkey we have the Fante kenkey and the Ga kenkey.kenkey is the general name that people use to call this staple food , where as the Ga’s call it Kormi ,the twi speaking tribe call the Fante kenkey Dorkunu While the Fante kenkey is mostly produced in the Central and Western Regions, the Ga kenkey is common with the people of Ewe, Akan and the Greater Accra Region.

When Africa is mentioned, the first thought that comes in the mind of people is that fact that Africa is poor , Africa is uneducated enough to use their resource and most especially Africans are slaves but there is more to African than those perceptions .Africa is a giant full of great people and great .The resources. The past of Africa shouldn’t determine the future, Most Africans are ashamed of their color and worse of All change their name and pronouncations of them when they travel to other countries with the mind of not even coming back home and forgetting that no matter how they change they will still find their roots in Africa

Micheal jackson on of the popular singer in history died trying to change his color and his entire self because he wasn’t proud to be An African .He felt so ashamed of his roots he thought if he changed his skin and looks he would be able to fit in As a different person and his music will sell .No matter where you come from , regardless of how bad your roots are you can be the change and the change will start from us that is you and me

If Rascim could kill dreams , many people won’t be successful. Take a look at Barrack Hussein Obama who was the black man who served as the 44th president of the United states of America . He made history as the first Black African to be elected as president .Lets all come together and leave our roots at different points so we can be remembered for it and lets create history as Africans

Ghana is a land of rich resources,land of rich culture, rich festival, diverse cultures , ethic groups , i can go on and on But we are one people with a unique color of Black . Our ethnic groups are , Akans ,Mole Dagabani ,Ga -Adonge ,ewe , konkonba ,Gurusisi ,Bissa and Guans . And are various languages such as Asante twi , Akuapem, Bono, Dagane ,ewe , Ga and so on.

Festival Is an occasion for feasting or celebration, especially a day or time of religious significance that recurs at regular the Ghanaian festival is a very important event which is rich in culture where people from different countries travel from far and near to see and have an experience.

I would love to go with all the festival, But i will hammer on three of them

Firstly Homowo which is celebrated among the Ga society this festival is celebrated in the month of may with plantings of crops before the raining season this is done in remembrance of the famining that happened once among them . Homo~means hunger wo~means hoot. They sprinkle a meal made with palm nut soup around the town during this occasion there is a ban on noise

Secondly the kundum festival is celebrated by the Nzema or Ahanta people in the western region of Ghana. This festival is celebrated to thank god for abundance of food,at the time being of the harvest period of the area. The festival last for four weeks the festival operates differently in each town that makes up the Ahata paramount.The actives are drumming, dancing and having a feast.

Lastly the Adae kesse festival. The Adae Festival is celebrated by The Ashanti’s it is it has two major festival celebrated which one is celebrated to glorify the achievement of the Asante kingdom and the odiwura festival which is also the yam festival. The festival came in to prominence 1697 and 1699.

These are three of the many festivals we have and they are not only festivals but always bring people form far and near to visit and find their roots from where they are from …..long live Ghana long live the people and long live are rich festivals
